We are delighted to report that General Manager for Linton and Bury St Edmunds, Zaggy Zachariou was recently awarded ‘Plant Manager of the Year’ at the 2013 Meat & Poultry Processing Awards. Congratulations also go to Sophie Hope, for her award submission reaching the final shortlist in the ‘Supply Chain Initiative of the Year’.
The Meat & Poultry Processing Awards recognise many unseen achievements and innovations taking place within the vital hub of the UK meat industry. It aims to highlight best practice for processors, who are driving initiatives forward within the industry.
Zaggy said: “I’m really, really chuffed. Although my name is on the plaque, we are very much a team business with a great team base and a great set of people, managers, suppliers and fantastic customers, with whom we work really closely.”
Zaggy went on to thank his teams at Linton and Bury “without a doubt this is a team achievement and could not have been achieved without everyone’s help, initiatives and commitment in making Linton and Bury the pleasant and successful plants they are”
