Welsh Lamb

Welsh lamb is produced by specialist sheep farmers from all over Wales, from the Lleyn Peninsula, bathed in the Gulf Stream in the far North West, through the rolling hills of mid-Wales and the Brecon Beacons, to the lush green pastures of the Vale of Glamorgan. The European Union has awarded Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status to Welsh lamb in recognition of its exceptionally high quality. Welsh lamb is best in season from May to December.
